Gary Olmon is a registered architect and building code consultant. He has been licensed as an architect since 1975 and has practiced in a wide range of projects. He has also served municipal building departments as chief building official and plans examiner. Gary is a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA). He has been accredited as a Certified Building Official (CBO) by the International Conference of Building Officials, and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

Gary now consults with architectural firms, law firms, and construction contractors in matters regarding building codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).


Gary’s project experience includes performing arts and professional sports venues, healthcare, collegiate construction and dormitories, commercial and industrial construction, and multi-family residential construction.

Gary is qualified to testify as an expert witness in cases requiring an analysis of construction timelines, movement of crowds, standard of care and peer review investigations. Gary’s experience as an expert witness includes court testimony, deposition, mediation and arbitration.
